ALEXANDER MCQUEEN : SAVAGE BEAUTY

There is going to be an exhibition organized by The Costume Institute to celebrate the late Alexander McQueen's contribution in fashion.Famed for his illustrious avant garde designs and extraordinary runway presentation,he showed craftsmanship and showmanship in a whole.

This exhibition will exhibit his works ranging from his postgraduate collections,to his years as a creative director at Givenchy,and all the way to his final collection which he worked on before his death.

Daphne Guinness once said, "He could do one of the simplest things and also the hardest things." - "If he was an artist,he must be the best. If he was an architect, he must be the best. He is a perfectionist."

His exhibition will be starting from May 4,2011 - July 31,2011.

Sad to say, i won't be able to make it as i am living the other half side of the world.
